One pre reading strategy i used was read and take notes.I predict that the cat is going to eat the monster blood and turn colassle witch causes it to destroy the town.in my hed i pictured a giant cat getting ready to attake.one post strategy i used was that i have a cat in my house to just like the book and is bad.
